Does what it says on the tin but had difficulty pairing and grouping.
Easy to set up, cheaper than most others, great features. What is not to like? I'd recommend these to anyone.
Great products and customer support. Had some questions and support was quick and helpful
These are great items and I have a number os setups now. They work well and have a great range of colours etc. One thing to be aware of is that when tied into a sensor (door or movement) they take around 5 seconds to light up. Fine if used in a loft etc but not so good in a living room etc. Selective use is required.... Otherwise great items 😁
I'll be fair, Hey! offer a really affordable way to start building a smart home. The products they offer are of good quality for the price and, when they actually work, have great performance. I have Hey! bulbs and smart plugs set up in 2 houses. In both houses the bulbs provide great lighting with many colour choices and a cool, if a bit clunky, party mode. Of course, for 10 a piece, the colour spectrum is lacking compared to a Philips Hue bulbs but for the price, you can't really compare them. Yet, the brightness is definitely there. Talking about brightness, colour performance is different at lower brightness which is a shame. The smart plugs can't really get a detailed review, they turn on, they turn off and i've actually had 0 issues with them in general, they are certainly cheaper than Tapo plugs (a standard go to) and perform just as well. The bulbs, however, have annoying performance issues. Not in terms of their colour, brightness, etc. But in their connection. It is often that my bulbs on a multi point spotlight have issues connecting and random bulbs won't connect on random days. They tend to get themselves sorted within a couple hours (or after a little switch flicking) but it can be very annoying as it inerupts scheduled routines that basically make them hands (and voice) free. Overall, I would recommend Hey! for those who already know how to smart home and want some cheap alternatives for areas of their house that aren't as important smart home wise. But, for smart home fanatics, they may not have the perfomance you desire. And, for smart home novices, they may be too fiddly to start off with. In all, 6/10
